I have just discovered necklace extenders much to my delight and the new life it has applied to my necklaces. The current trend to wear necklaces at the eighteen inch or twenty inches has left a lot of my fifteen and sixteen inch necklaces sitting dormant in my jewelry cupboard sobbing their little hearts out.
So I knew in theory what I needed, a necklace extender, but did such a thing exist or would I need to get one of those looped chains that hang down the back (not what I wanted). Google and eBay in all their glory revealed to me the perfect solution – an adjustable necklace extender in silver that came in two lengths (both adjustable!) .
Thanks to the wonderful eBay within two weeks and for less than $10 I have them in my lil hands. I have already applied one to my Tiffany bean now 20 inches and one to my silver bow now 18 inches with the option to add them to other necklaces- yay, yay, yay!!
