Is there anything prettier than shiny jewels? Perhaps – When they hang from my brand new crafting project!!

A few weeks ago I realized my dangly earrings needed a new home. I had been hanging them in my jewelry cabinet but their length meant that they were beginning to tangle and I was retreating back to my no tangle studs. I may also need to admit that all my great Lovisa and Diva finds have squeezed my available space a little.

I looked around at earring holders but most were either expensive or an unnatural fit for my decor (White). So, I turned to the crafty world. What a world! I found heaps of options but most required…tools (argh!!!!). Not my natural forte. So I started to think what would work. It needed to be white, require no tools, easy to hang on the wall (I have no spare shelf space) and look…pretty.

So I picked up a small art canvas at Lincraft for a few dollars and used a pin to pierce holes through the surface. So easy. A home made earring holder!! I then used the 3M removable frame holders to stick it the wall just to the left of my jewelry cabinet. (I have a larger one of these I made last year in my bathroom but I find it easier to keep all my bling together!).

This seems to have filled the need, won’t ruin my walls and all up cost about $5 including hanging stickers. And the good news…these canvases come in lots of sizes…so should I get a few more pairs…perhaps it’s time to visit the Rose St Market again…
