One day a girl can be happily crunching a Miss Chu warm vermicelli salad on Exhibition St in Melbourne and the next enjoying Miss Chu rice paper rolls in Sydney beneath the opera house.
Isn’t life funny sometimes?
I found myself today in Circular Quay in Sydney needing to find a quick bite before my next meeting. While Sydney and I have formed a friendship we have yet to get beyond pleasantries to really know each other so trying to find somewhere that was quick, easy, healthy and did not require a down payment similar to my mortgage posed a conundrum in my lack of information world.
Then I recalled reading about one of the Miss Chu’s in Sydney underneath the Sydney Opera House. Bingo. I happily walked around the stunning quay taking in the iconic bridge and Opera House duo as I searched out the elusive Miss Chu Sydney.
I I found her tucked on the main quay side admits a number of Cafes and was pleased to see the rice paper rolls on the menu. Yum! At nearly $3 more than the equivalent on Exhibition St I shrugged my shoulders at the cost and happily ordered away.
I chose the vegetarian rice paper rolls with egg omelette, avocado and balsamic onion and they were delicious. Perhaps even more so as I sat in the sun soaking up the amazing view. Not bad for a 20min lunch dash for under $10!

I totally don’t know my way around Sydney either! Always so clueless when I am there!
Love that photo of the harbour – my sister is working with all the people coming ashore from that cruise ship in dock right now!
