My beloved city is entering winter. There is something special about this time of year – when the temperature drops, the rain falls and wind swirls. Sometimes, just after dusk when the city is full of people heading out it almost feels Christmas like – the European sort filled with scarves and hot chocolates. And yes I am a little crazy over Christmas, but will hopefully leave that for a little later in my blogging life given its only April.
As a result of this delightful weather I got “The Cold” that had me locked in my house with copious quantities of tissues and Vicks and only the net to keep me occupied. I find when i am sick i struggle to watc th, cant read books properly but love surfing online (if it can be done from bed) or playing my gameboy. I love Melbourne and adore reading sites and blogs about it but there simply wasn’t enough to fill my stuck at home needs. I wanted to read about the Melbourne I love – the random, pretty, eclectic, trendy city full of hidden bars, cute shops, amazing fashion and cupcakes. I hope through this blog I will get to explore and do more and perhaps meet others in the know along the way.
