Heaven Scent at Kliens Perfumery…

This is one of those shops. The ones you step into and for a moment it feels like you are somewhere else. Located on Brunswick St, Fitzroy, nestled amongst vintage stores, record shops and restaurants this place is devine. Kleins is designed around perfume and all things that smell good (except for the perfume entitled dirt…yup I know). They also carry an impressive range of skincare, beauty and candle products. It is long and narrow and absolutely feels like an adult candy store with things arranged prettily on tiered shelfs all sparkling under the down lights.

They stock a lot of the regulars and a lot of brands I haven’t seen anywhere else in Australia. They also hold a number of solid perfumes which is a favorite perfume delivery system of mine and can be hard to find. I was delighted to find one of my favorite Fragonard perfumes in balm form in a tin. Fragonard, a French brand, introduced to me by my brother in gift form years ago has a lovely selection.

I was also tempted with my recent love of all things violet to purchase a tin of Violette candies…and have promptly gone off all things violet. Perhaps it’s for the best and it is a very pretty tin which I am sure I can find a use for.

The staff at the store were very friendly and are able to do divine gift wrapping so if you are looking for that next gift (for yourself or someone else) this is a nice place to check out.
