Now, don’t be catty…

Get yourself along to the Black Cat. This is pure Fitzroy, from the assorted comfy couches to the mix n match decor a la garage sale. This venue is featured frequently in Offspring in guise of cafe although it is just as well known as an evening night spot.

This was where our OP (plan to visit local Offspring filming locations) went a little off whack – we were hoping to grab a bite to eat to ward of all the alchamahol but were told that the bar stops serving food at four. So while we didn’t stick around we all hoped to head back hear later.

The venue does great coffee and has a good cocktail list. It also has a really pretty outdoor area on the pavement swathed in a house of vines. Unfortunately the place was packed on our way back up Brunswick St but we hope to go back soon!

Now, I need to admit I lied. I said this would be a five day Offspring Journey. It’s actually going to be a full week – yay!! (or sorry, if this isn’t you cup of tea).
