I love buying tea (and drinking it, naturally) and if there is one famous tea institution in the world it’s Fortnum and Masons. I love the ye olde world elegance that this store embodies, I love that they haven’t modernized or made it flashy, it’s charm is in what it is and it’s amazing history (established in 1707 – long before we even called Australia, Australia).

It’s all sweeping staircases and beautiful displays of things to want but perhaps not need. Teas and Preserves and Jams and biscuits and hampers and tea holders and linens (yes, I really was looking longingly at table linens).

So without further ado – my haul!

My obsession with Violet continues with these devine looking cookies. The tin alone is enough to make my heart beat a little faster. So pretty.

Royal Blend used to be my preferred blend when I used to live here – hope it holds up to my memories! I decided on teabags as opposed to loose leaf for two reasons. The first is the tin – how beautiful and multi purpose is it? The second it means I can pop a few in a zip lock and have tea easily on hand. Hello Nanna Me!

When used to visit F&M I always looked longingly at the beautiful marzipan fruit but could never really justify the splurge. Just this one I decided I can! Perhaps an early Christmas pressie to myself…

And if I get a pressie certainly Binks should too right?

And finally a bag to store it all safe and tight in. It’s 100% compostable and looks so pretty to boot! Love.
