The Aylesbury roof top bar magically appeared before us when in need for a drink on Saturday night. Now I can see you arching your brow at that...magically you scoff? Well, when Bean, Dino and I planned to head out for a glass of bubbles to enjoy on a mild but threatening rain Saturday night little did we know how hard it would be to find somewhere that wasn't hosting a private function! After two fails and a little heartbreak on our way to the next on the list we passed the gleaming lights of ... Read More
When a few months ago I heard that the Moat, a new cafe/bar/restaurant, was opening under the State Library in Melbourne I was thrilled. To escape the 40* day on Monday last week the gang an I retreated into the air conditioned Mecca that is Crown for lunch, movie, shopping and drinks.
The Waiting Room bar was the perfect place to sip champagne and pretended we were far more ... Read More
