I finally made it the Myer Mural Hall! There was an incident earlier in the year where I tried to follow some tourists in - unfortunately they had a run in with security so I hightailed it out of there and have had to remain content with craning my neck to peer through the gap in the window. Yes - I look suspicious.
The hall (think deco ballroom not drafty community hall) was open as part of the Melbourne Open House Day, 2011 and was consistently packed with interested viewers.

Bourke St Mall has been invaded by crochet knit, butterflies and flowers. All together.
Walking through the mall last week I was charmed by how pretty and sweet something so spontaneous could look. The Twilight Taggers, yarn bombers, are taking Melbourne Street art somewhere a little different...and I for one am enchanted.

Byron Bay has made it to Melbourne! Byron Bay famous for a relaxed and often alternative way of life is also home to the scrumptious Byron Bay Cookies (and now macrons).
