Am I going batty…
With all the build up to the big day (Tomorrow, Blogopolis) I have spent ages trying to work out what to wear. Yes, silly and girly I know. But these things are important. At least in my head. If I wear the wrong thing will I be ostracized? Become twitter fodder quicker than my foot steps in the door? So in an effort to prevent this being my fate I headed off to my beloved Bourke St Mall. Zara looked good but was still really busy and nothing was quite just what I wanted. David Jones was really ... Read More

Take to the Tracky…
Last night was the TLC Fashion Supports Tracky Day runway show, if you are imagining sweater fabric dispel those thoughts straight away. This is practically couture darling. Featuring a line up of some of Australia's most prominent designers lending their hands to one of a kind designer Tracksuit pants. The event began at 6pm when I joined a swirl of Melbournes most fashionable (I should be upfront here and highlight I myself am not someone who might be described as Melbourne's most fashionable) ... Zara getting closer…
Zara, greatly anticipated Spanish fashion chain, is getting closer to opening in Melbourne. Bourke St Mall, home to our Zara, has a feeling of constant building with the time it's taking for Zara to get ready. But wouldn't we rather have it perfect? Wednesday night, walking past, I noticed the crew (who never seem to leave) wheeling out giant pains of glass. Could this be the famous glass canopy all the comments have been about? (thanks again to the group updating the comments - it's been really ... Read More

Who’s the Diva now…
Why, could it be me? If not me then at least my new necklace and bracelet. While I couldn't make it to Melbourne Central last night walking home this evening I passed by the Diva in Bourke St Mall selling 3/4 of a wall at $5 and under!!! This set I have been eying for some time now - but was never really able to justify...it's a little ladylike, a little 80's power dressing, and a little well, not my normal style. But at $5 a piece and purchased with the lucky $20 I found in the bottom of last ... Read More

His Lordships luncheon…
I finally made it to Earl Canteen, this hallowed and fabled gourmet sandwich meeting palace place. Earls has to be one of the most blogged about cafes in Melbourne fusing gourmet meals with bread. Could a girl (or boy) ask for anything more? I have long been a believer that most things work well in sandwich form...lasagna, vegetarian chilli, stuffing (yes, I am aware that's effectively bread on bread) just about anything really. Earl makes gourmet affordable, portable, accessible and adds bread ... Read More
