Ok, the Census is really more of a Nationwide thing, in fact it's been 100 years since the first time it was Nationwide, but I figure most of Melbourne is participating in it tonight.This is my first census as an independent adult when I have been in Australia on census night - and I have been weirdly excited about it! I love the idea that in 99 years my data will be out there should anyone care to look at it. Of course they won't. But still.

Don't you love it when some of your favorite things manage to come together?
There is something fantastic about people who can make you laugh. It is such a natural happy reaction yet one we don't seem to use anywhere near enough. I must admit the person I find myself laughing at the most, sadly, is me. So, when I get the chance to go see a good comedian who can make me laugh I am thrilled. Well, my final Offspring blog. And what a lovely way to wrap up my current tv obsession (from a blog point of view - will still be tuning in on Monday). You knew it was coming right? How could I possibly lead you through all of these Offspring locations and not take you the the pub they seem to frequent in just about every episode. Get yourself along to the Black Cat. This is pure Fitzroy, from the assorted comfy couches to the mix n match decor a la garage sale. This venue is featured frequently in Offspring in guise of cafe although it is just as well known as an evening night spot.
