Worship St Whistling Shop…

This is one of those blogs where I don't want to create a cute heading for as the Worship St Whistling Shop, a gin palace tucked away in East London, does all the cute heading work for me.My last Friday night in London I headed here to meet Chuck and Rose for a drink on the recommendation of a Guardian reading Bean. We arrived down the back St that perfectly suits the name Worship St and headed downstairs into the bar already filling with the after five work crowd. The bar seemed fairly large spanning ... Life’s a little random…
While traveling I managed to take a few photos that sadly have no natural blog home. So as ever the diligent blogger (was that stretching it too far?) I decided to create them a little space all of their very own. This first photo was taken on a Sunday on Fifth Avenue in New York following a giant Latin American (we think) parade that went on for several hours. Lates…
One of my favorite adventures whilst on holiday was visiting the London Science Museum "Lates" evening where they open in the evening, last Wednesday of each month, for an adults only event. We arrived at about 7:30ish and were lucky enough to miss the queue and entered this giant museum. The place was packed with mostly twenty something's to late thirties all happily enjoying beers and wine from the bar (yes, how cool - drinking in a museum as you wander about). It's an awesome way to see the Science ... Read More

Lunch, Lunch or Lunch…
I am officially jealous of those who work in the Mooregate gate area of London who have easy access to this lunch time Market year round. When Chuck offered to share with me her favorite felafel lunch spot I was happy to ramble my way across London and meet her at the Whitecross Market. The market contains about twenty little food stores (and the odd shop stocking batteries, random wires etc) that cover just about every genre of food you can imagine. We walked past curries, tacos, noodles, steaming ... Read More

Have you Ben to….
Tucked away in Balham behind the Station and giant Sainsburys sits Bento - one of those random restaurants that serves EVERYTHING including £2.50 cocktails - yay!!I came here on the recommendation of Rose and Tain to share in the wonders of the highly recommended (and namesake) Bento Box. The restaurant itself is large and spacious and the girls and I were ushered to one of the many giant share size tables. The menu itself could take some time to read but as we were here for Bento I didn't take ... Read More
