When looking for a cheap steak night a few weeks ago, Apple directed us towards the Arcadia Hotel in South Yarra. While the steak surprisingly enough for me vegetarian self wasn't the object we were after somewhere that would feed Mr Meat and Potato and Moss Vegetarian (moi) and this place could do it with ease.

The Estelle Bar and Kitchen in Northcote was a bit of a surprise. When HD suggested it as a pre comedy festival event the rest of us were all happy to go along with the suggestion and take it from there.
Arriving at the Estelle ( Estelle Bar and Kitchen) we were greated by a lovely interior with rich wood and cool tiles and it's small - not super small just intimate small. We sat down and were offered the wine list which we happily accepted. The wine varieties were good although

The Aylesbury roof top bar magically appeared before us when in need for a drink on Saturday night. Now I can see you arching your brow at that...magically you scoff? I can hear you thinking this may well be the dullest post I have posted yet - but hold on! I stumbled on this site yesterday after marveling at the fact that despite it being mid April Elfie, Apple and I were planning to spend the afternoon down at the beach in Rye. Yay for Offspring season 3 starting tonight on Chanel 10 but it has made me realize I need to organizes my next OP (Offspring Plan) tour where friends and I use the show as an excuse to explore a bit of Melbourne and visit some bars and restaurants.
